They have multiple branches in different malls around the metro. Known for their Bottomless SAlad bar and soup bar for 225 bucks. For me its one of the best deal in town and if u order one Entree, u can have the all u can eat soup and salad for less than a hundred pesos.. who can beat that… I ordered myself a club sandwich for 195 pesos-
layers of freshly baked wheat bread filled with slices of smoked ham, bacon, BBQ flavored chicken, corned beef omelet, cheddar, cheese and fresh lettuce, then ordered the soup and salad bar,
i started getting from the soup and salad bar, not knowing they also have breads and dips.
.an arugula pesto, Boursin cheese and pomodoro sauce…
Soup, two choices that day, cream of mushroom and sotanghon soup, the sotanghon soup was teeming with ingredients, chicken, veggies, mushroom sotanghon(sorry no pic)
. THe Salad bar has a lot, one thing lacking though was bacon which they are trying to make up with ham slices, but still nothing compares to bacon.. agree?:)
Well, to but the story short, i wasnt able to eat y sandwich coz i was too full with the salad and soup bar, stayed there for more than 3 hours studying… not bad.. lunch for less than a hundred pesos…
Metropolitan Restaurant – northpoint HK
Chinese restaurants in hongkong have very high standard when it comes to food. The ingredients have to be very very fresh, from the veggies to the meat and seafood.
This was my last dinner here, This restaurant prides itself has having friendly service

Fried pigeon– succulent, gamey, crisp skin….
Prawn balls in sweet and sour sauce– lightly breaded, tossed in a fine sweet and sour sauce.. the freshness of the prawns evident in its meat..
Eel in Chili Garlic Sauce– lightly floured, then baste with a chili garlic sauce.. taste like chicken:)
Beef Short ribs fried with Garlic– very tender, very tasty ribs, the dish was calling out for ..what else.. plain rice:)
Lobster au gratin- the finale… yummy and fantastic, baked in a savory gratin… we fiinished everythinhg, if only the shell was edible , i think it would be eaten too.. hehe

Dinner after a night of shopping. This place was bustling with customers even late at night.. past 9pm
Service was fast…
Here are what we ate
Stuffed Crab Shell—
young crab shell stuffed with mixed seafood mousse then fried
Prawns with egg white
— sweet prawn meat, fresh, stir fried quicly with a egg white sauce that looks like as soft and light as clouds…
White Chicken with egg sauce— this is just okay, not a dish i would order again…
Typical HK breakfast
Aside from the typical dimsums.. this is what people in Hk usually have for breakfast, u can order this in any resto…noodle shop around hongkong
Scrambled egg with roast pork asado
- instead of ham or bacon, they used roast pork asado
Meatball congee– juicy meat balls in a flavorful congee… excellent
Shrimp Cheong Fan– as u can see the plump, crisp, shirmps in very soft and chewy rice flour flat noodles.. lovely dish
Best Roast pork Asado in Hongkong- Guang Dong Barbeque Restaurant- Tsim Sha Tsui
The first time I tasted this few years back .. it was honey roast pork love….Never have I tasted asado so juicy, with the right balance of saltiness and sweetness, the perfect intermingling of fat and meat…
So everytime I go to HK, I never miss a meal here and I always recommend this place to people who are going to HK.

They also have other items like the roast suckling pig… which is also good but the honey roast pork is the real winner. Order a dish with rice.. comes with greens as well, don’t forget the sauces that comes with it..

Yung kee doesn’t stand a chance against this place..
To those who love pork, don’t miss this dish.. I usually buy a couple of pieces of uncut pork asado then wrapped it in plastic wrap so that the odor wont bug other people…and bring it to the Philippines…

Hongkong international airport or chep lap kok airport is perhaps my favorite airport in Asia because.. its spacious, very clean, very organized and the most important thing.. lots and lots of restaurants…
For the last meal in Hongkong, I have to eat Dimsum… so here we are at Chao Inn…

Shrimp Cheong Fan’
Shrimp HaKaw
Cha Xiu Bao

Siu mai
Everything was great, comparable to the best chinese restaurants here in Manila or even better…
Another restaurant that caught my fancy was ofcourse.. a Italian restaurant…
just like our Sbarro…

named…Famiglia Pizzeria—

I love going to supermarkets wherever I am.. I love browsing thru the aisle and looking what I can eat ior what I can bring home
Here are some of my finds- in the supermarket and 7-11
Ice c
ream filled strawberry- saw this at LORI’s(dessertcomesfirst.com) blog during her trip to Japan and was so happy when i found it in HK. Individually wrapped strawbeery frozen and filled withj vanilla ice cream.

Who would not want to eat that????
Cream cheese flavoured mochi ice cream- great concept.. nice taste and texture..

Chocolate flavoured condensed milk- another great idea from nestle.. dont worry about melamine.. this was not made in China, only packaged here.

This store has a lot of branches in hongkong… specializes in cold fruit dessert…the only place that comes near to their concept is ice monster but … hindi pa rin eh.. this place is much much better with more varieties… They have picture menu so to those who dont speak Cantonese or Chinese, u can just point:)
An odd thing about this place.. all the promos are for take out.. its like forcing the people not to eat at their place but just have ur food to go….
Mango strawberry shake—very refreshing.

Mango strawberry desset bowl—
with a scoop of mango ice cream and lots of gluitinous rice balls… another great dish, I coud eat this every day…
Been eating here for the past 10 years everytime i come to hongkong,
In manila, we have Sango.. here in hongkong, the have Mo’s and Freshness burger….
And when I saw it in Ocean terminal.. I immediately went to find it even if I just had lunch…..
Who wouldn’t want to try a burger looking like this

Double Hawaiian beef burger…- too all amazing aloha lovers….. you better try this burger, it give the amazing aloha a run for its money in taste and in size

Freshness burger– compared to SANGO’s version , i like this better, bigger patty, tastier meat sauce, big tomato slice

One of the old reliables restaurant in Canton road, underwent a major facelift… as compared to the last time I was here, best known for their Chinese desserts….

Wanton soup—litlle treasures filled with a piece of prawn cutlet…
Siu mai- plump siu mai, good amount of filling, very little extenders.

Cheong Fan- soft flaour casing hugging the very fresh whole shrimps inside, doused with a sweet soy sauce… yummy
Panfried chopped meat in different veggies

Fried rice with crispy scallops
Spareribs in strawberry sauce– this was a revelation, never thought of using strawberries with pork, came out really good, the meaty flavour of the pork complementing the sweet tangy taste of the strawberris and vice versa.
Mango pudding– The best mango pudding.. PERIOD
